Botan Bridge

Service Description

This project, located on the Botan bridge and the new Siirt-Eruh road, which was built as an alternative to the roads and bridges that will remain under the Ilısu Dam, was completed and put into service in 2010. Project Purpose: Construction of a bridge to replace the existing road and bridge due to being submerged by the tail waters of the Ilısu Dam. Technical information: Bridge type: I-section Steel Composite beam Length (Le): 350 m Highest Foot: 43.32 m Distance between elevations: 50.50 m Amount of Bored Piles: 96 pieces (851 m) Reinforced Concrete: 10143 m3 Rebar: 1730 tons High Body Steel Beam Made of Sheet Metal: 3070 tons The bridge width is 12 meters. (1.25m+1.25m+4.75m+4.75m=12 m.) The bridge consists of 7 spans. There are 7 I-section steel beams in each span, making a total of 49 I-section steel beams. The average weight of each steel box section beam used in the bridge is 62.5 tons.
